Get ready to build, compete and think like an engineer at Apogee School’s VEX Robotics Summer Camp. This high-energy, hands-on experience gives students a head start on the upcoming competitive season as they dive into the new VEX game, design and program robots, and tackle real-world challenges. Whether your child is new to robotics or a returning team member, they’ll develop critical problem-solving skills, teamwork, and technical confidence—all while having an absolute blast bringing their creations to life.

AGENDA AND SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK

This week long camp is designed for a fast paced introduction to VEX Robotics for students who are new to robotics and an opportunity for returning students to have hands-on experience working with the brand new game for the coming competitive season.  Students will be divided into small teams, each with a dedicated teacher/coach.  Students will learn about the game, be taught engineering technique, basic programming, and game strategy.  In addition to building robots, we’ll have plenty of time to have free play time and summer camp activities.

On Friday afternoon starting around 1:30 we’ll have a mini-tournament.  Parents, siblings, and friends are welcome to cheer on the teams!
